ya got that right hippy bus is the way to go drivin vross country smokin a fatty drummin in the sunrise bleary eyed & stoned
depends on the point of the journey. if you are travelling for the sake of the journey itself, then the best mode of travel is the one which allows you to have the richest experiance. for this, my best trip was aboard a type of water buffalo. if you are travelling to get somewhere or see someone, then the most direct mode is preferable. if you are in a super hurry, there is always the transporter beam.... or even time travel if you needed to be there, like, yesterday
Bike, train, airplane, but especially airplane. I love flying...unless I'm forced to sit next to some stranger. But normally, it's a hell yeah.
For long distance, I love taking the train. You can look outside and see the changes in scenery, without having the burdan of driving...it might take longer, but it's relaxing. I also like to walk...walking is relaxing and it makes you appreciate the things around you because it gives you the opportunity to take time out and slow your life down a little.
I walk a lot, but trains are my favorite. I also enjoy hitching. I don't have a use for a car. got off a greyhound at 7:20 this morning, got on the rail, caught a local bus, made it to work by 9:15. and then I remembered how much I hate my job.
motorcycle becouse you really get to see and feel the area "and smell" but without going at turtle speed of a bicycle. steal cage "cars" sucks and airplanes are a joke .
It really depends on how far you are traveling and for what purpose. I like to walk, but that's not always practicle if you have 20 or 30 miles to go for an appointment, let alone interstate or to another country. I drive a car if it is not within reason to walk. A bicycle is too dangerous where I live, but bikes are cool. I had a real bad expierience on a two day train trip a few years ago. That ruined it for me. I like to travel on Cruise Ships when I can. So, I voted Airplane. I love to fly even in todays world with all the hassles and rude passangers.
you forgot horseback! thats my number one. you can go fast, for fun, or slow, for the scenery. theyll take you almost anywhere and its so nice to share your journey, no matter how long or short with an animal friend. i also love walking with my dog. and biking when i need to get somewhere fast.
i prefer my thumb out on the road. depending on what state im in i guess, someplaces are just too hostile to get a ride.
I like walking and biking about the same. But I picked walking because I don't like to have to keep up with things like bikes.
