No they are quite conscious about their name choice. I think they are vegans or something.

I think they're name is great partly because it suits the theme of their music and lyrics.

Their album covers are great too. "harvest floor" has a cow shitting out a human or something.

Thats definetly not death metal my man... its more like deathcore/metalcore

 

I guess you can split the hair that far if you want but according to their facebook,wikipedia,and their label they are death metal. Either way way closer to death than cradle and immortal

Also if your looking for death stuff alot of people seem to like cannibal corpse. I like the band more than i like the music when it comes to them but they have a big following. But OP i think you sound like your more interested in black metal anyways. omething like a dimmu borgir or behemoth might quench your thirst

Gorgoroth is killer black metal and Kreator is great speed metal.

Favorite death metal band? Too many to count, maybe Deicide. Or Demigod.
