What's your favorite Conspiracy / Conspiracy Theory?

so vague and general it renders it meaningless...

 

To be open minded we should question even our own beliefs. Even if our beliefs are different from the mainstream we still should question them and evolve our beliefs and opinions over time as we learn new things or disprove what we once thought to be true. For example I used to believe in reincarnation. I realized I can't know this without direct experience so I no longer claim to know what happens after death. Thats just one example. To be open minded our philosophies should be fluid and evolve over time. Rigidity in any belief is the antithesis to openmindedness whether the beliefs are mainstream or considured "fringe."

I also like the multiverse concept but that is not really a Conspiracy theory.

 

OK, fair enough. I don't disagree.

But if I want to laugh, I will just turn on CNN, since there is more truth to most conspiracy theories than there is coming from the corporate news media that constantly spoonfeeds us bullshit.

 

not exactly a theory, but making a mountain of speculation out of a mole hill of actual reliable data.

rocks the size of buildings, on the surface of a comet, become alien buildings in the eyes of wishful thinking.

everything that could be, just has to be, even if its more often something else.

but then, you see, what we are officially told, is one of those things that just have to be, that could just as often, be something else entirely.

when its science we're talking about, odds are in its favor of being valid, at least within the context it actually, very narrowly and cautiously defines for itself.
when we're talking about political and religious things, that generate emotional baggage, its best to take ALL claims and sides, official ones included, with a large grain of salt.

actual evidence is often a small kernal, from which many and differing, often diametrically opposing, much larger conclusions can be drawn, and frequently are.
science endivers to avoid doing this, while the politics of gosh wow, of course wallows and revels in it.

the problem conspiracy bashing, is thus often exactly the same problem, as with conspiracies themselves. a counter conspiracy, is in the end, also a conspiracy itself.
