To me, its simply accepting everyone for who they are without judgement. Because when we judge people we tip the balance of harmony and karma has to set it back in place. But without confrontation, peace would not exist Yin and Yang, light and dark, good and bad
Well...for me peace means freedom.Freedom to say everything you feel, everything you want, all you are and you want to be. Peace is hidden in the past and I hope will exist in future- to show us the right way.Peace allows us be what we are without worrying that someone may not like it-peace means perception and love. It means care and faith. Faith in the fact that everything can be ok...
Peace all around the world is important but also practicing peace with everyone you come in contact with is a pretty good idea. Many people have parents, siblings, spouses, children, neighbors, the assholes at school, the authorities or whoever who they have a hard time getting along with. I think the most important place to practice peace starts with yourself. It means keeping your cool even when somebody pulls some shit on you. It means trying to work out differences without screaming or using violence or taking advantage or getting even. Sometimes it just means putting up with crap as best you can without freaking, until you can make your move the fuck out of there. Sometimes you even start to like or respect your adversaries. You're the one who has to start the chain of peace in the world. If you're doing it right things do change around you. That's how it's worked for me anyway.
well, whatever makes your heartbeat and your feet move. Whatever you do that makes you and the people around you happy with themselves and their lives. basically it is whatever makes one happy or feel at peace.
When I think of Peace, I don't think of mere absence of war... I think of a pure, universal Utopia, that could never truely exist, but serves as an inspiration for efforts toward a better world. In a sentence, I think of a society where everyone can be their whole self everywhere, around anyone, and be accepted.
To me, peace means the absence of crime and violence and war. Peace IS out there, I know it, and I know if Gaea's children would all work together instead of fighting and hurting one another, then true peace could finally be achieved.
For me Peace is harmony. Harmony is achieved through discussion and compromise. Letting other be as they want to be, as long as it doesn't hurt others. Putting an end to violence and war. Walking naked in the sun. Treating earth with respect. I could go on and on, we know we will not achieve it all but we must try!!
you said it right , this is the definition of peace that i can call the BASIC the FOUNDATION . it's all about this chain of peace that we start within ourselves and then we can make this chain to grow much much more ... with every step we make ...
well it much more than being happy it's about to MOOVEEEEE to clean this globe of the bloody shitt ... to do AND ACT ABOUT IT THEN WE CAN FEEL HAPPY ABOUT THE TRUE MEANING OF PEACE
PEACE IS OUT THEIR FOR SURE it's in our soul we just need to grab it from our hearts and start to join the world with it with this peace...
No more war, no more arguing. Everyone finds a peaceful way to agree with one another. Everyone is kind to each other and helps each other out, even if they are strangers. You can walk down the street and everyone says hi and smiles. No one judges by appearance. Every homeless and third world country person has a home and food and clothes because everyone helps them out and volunteers. Animals are treated kindly. No abortion, no murder, no divorice. Hateful words don't exist. Makes me sad it will never happen.
the normal, nonwarring condition of a nation, group of nations, or the world. an agreement or treaty between warring or antagonistic nations, groups.a state of mutual harmony between people or groups, esp. in personal relationsthe normal freedom from civil commotion and violence of a community
I'm starting to feel that peace as people have described it in this thread, and have always described it, will never exist. As depressing as it is, people are probably too.. argh.. for this to happen. But, for me, peace means freedom. Freedom to be who you are and do what you wish. My idea of peace is perfect inner peace.. peace of the mind. When someone finds peace of the mind, they spread that peace to others. And, of course, the more peace the better.
i Really wish that will come true someday , i think the damage of PEACE is the biggest humanity mistake.
utterly unobstructed constructive harmony to a fully measurebale existence, discounting measure in mass. Just like any other concievable form of conscience aka existence.
all what we said is 1% real and the other we just dream about the only action we can start to do is by get up and start WORKING FOR PEACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
