^ its true all the weirdos do psych. then they get on their high horses coz they think they know everything about the human psyche
I've been feeling down for a good four years and recently i've found a few things have significantly boosted my moods. I used to suffer from a bad depression from early autumn but i've found i've avoided it this year by selling my car and walking/riding my bike everywhere, so as to get as much sunlight as possible. I have stopped smoking weed and cigarettes entirely and only drink alcohol once a month if at all. I find bike riding is a great way of getting around and a really low impact form of exercise. And most of all, I've found one of the best cures is to do all kinds of things that are good for you that you don't particularly want to do, like seeing your friends when you feel like a loner and taking long hard rides or hikes that kill your legs but give you a feeling of achievement. It sounds corny but most of it is how you choose to see yourself and the world, and its often easiest to feel shit. Thats the best i can offer and I guess everybody is different, but just know that i hear you.
my 'antidepressent'? being alone and dreaming about the kind of world i'd rather be living in. i don't mean just passively hanging out it but actualy designing parts of it and figguring out how they could be and what things about them would have to be. from 'topspec' down to actualy solid nuts and bolts. the nontangable ones too. the only thing that could ever be better then that would be to be actualy doing so. =^^= .../\...
you shouldn't generalize like that my one cousin in law is a psychologist, she seems to have a pretty good handle on it I would say that there are probably many that realize no matter how much we do learn about the human psyche there is still so much that we don't know
