I dunno if it's a good idea or not, but I'll continue to drink about a gallon a day until it kills me.

I love milk! I drink it most breaktimes... partly because it's cheaper than water (wtf?), partly because it goes soooo well with chocolate muffin, and partly because it's just so. damn. good!

since when were bacteria bad. we all have bacteria in us and most of them live symbiotically with us to help fight off the bad ones and maintain our diff bodily environments.

    MILK IS NOT BAD.

it might have some hormones on it but so does meat unless it is organic. if i could afford it i'd buy organic milk. i tried to get my daughter to drink soy milk but she doesn't like it--and i tried rice dream too...and i think she's mildly lactose intolerant but she still wants it with her cereal and sometimes another glass or two during the day

Ahhh, I get teased all of the time for drinking milk. I usually drink two glasses of it a day. I love milk, and so do my kids! My kids drink through about a gallon a day. It's much better for them to be drinking milk than it is to be drinking juice or other sugary non-nutritious drinks.

*waiting for andcrs to get on my case yet again* [IMG]

Fat milk is the way to go if ya gotta - skinny's a rip to the taste buds/wallet.

Whoever heard of skinny ice cream?
    That's silly...

*cringes* I despise milk...the aftertaste is TERRIBLE!

Not to mention the fact that there is pus, antibiotics, and hormones in it like someone else said...at least the stuff that you get at your regular grocery is like that.

I had a friend who drank a gallon of milk a DAY growing up. He developed diabetes and a few doctors told him it was caused by drinking so much milk. I don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds feasible.

Actually, they make some pretty decent ice cream with skim milk. I mean yes, the regular stuff is usually better, but hey, it's not too bad. Especially with fat-free chocolate syrup drizzled on top. ;)

No there isn't. That's PETA lying again.

There are white blood cells in milk (duh) pus happens to be an accumulation of white blood cells, but white blood cells do not equal pus. Equating the two is a falsehood.

If all shims are zams, and some zams are borks, does that mean some shims are borks?

There is white blood cells in it...and it's possible that there WILL be an accumulation of them...and pasturization does not help...it simply cooks the pus. Here is a paper written about it with citations that have nothing to do with PETA.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss, this is NOT a bad thing.

Again, yeeeeeeessssssssssssss....... but this does not mean that this is pus.

You can mix water, hops and barley but that doesn't mean it's beer.
