I think alcohol does less damage short term, but you don't really get anything out of it except for pleasure and it's addictive. Mushrooms are more powerful, but you get see the world through another lense which will stay with you for the rest of your life. Plus mushrooms are not addictive or pleasurable, but life changing. Mushrooms are safer long term if taken with care IMO.

You've obviously never been to eastern europe.

Wow. Go to www.google.com. type "alcohol brain damage". Hit search

I really, really, really, wish people would not talk out of their ass and just spend 10 seconds on google before hitting that "post" button.

    http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=alcohol+brain+damage&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

    With alcohol you do know.

LONG TERM EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL USE

"The Prevalance Rate for schizophrenia is approximately 1.1% of the population over the age of 18"

    http://www.schizophrenia.com/szfacts.htm

Alcohol linked to 75,000 U.S. deaths a year

Third leading cause of mortality, government study finds

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6089353/

How about when alcohol releases your latent cirrhosis, brain damage, impotence, and heart disease? Is that better?

You could have spent 10 seconds on google and you wouldn't look like an ass.

You obviously have no idea what alcohol actually does in the body. A night of heavy drinking is already liver damage. And this thread is based around comparing the two on higher levels of consumption.

It's not biased. It's a reflection of simple facts; alcohol is one of the most toxic drugs you can choose to ingest, while mushrooms are one of the safest. Anti-drug people just tend to not like to look at facts, because it causes cognitive dissonance; "but my GOVERNMENT says that they make you go CRAZY lolz".

Shrooms are one of the most non-toxic, counter-addictive, mind-expanding lifeforms out there. Alcohol is made from the fermentation (zombiefication) of certain foods. Alcohol leads to liver damage, kidney damage, and brain cell loose. Shrooms is less toxic than aspirin, unlikely to cause any disease to the liver, kidney, heart, or any organ of the body.....and it is NOT neuro-toxic. Shrooms are an immortal fungi.

Alcohol beats shrooms by miles of being worse than shrooms. Shrooms is 4-phosphoryl-n-n-dimethyltryptamine......'nough said!

even if shrooms were as bad healthwise for you as alchohol,

would you really do shrooms as much as you would drink?

Mushrooms are your good friend in nature. They pushed there little heads out of the dirt to smile and bathe in the sunlight.

alcohol is some toxic sludge that fermented in a cess pool
