What's with the hate

I tink people should think what they want, but some thoughts shouldn't be voiced

 

I completely disagree.

Every single thought should be voiced, that's the beauty of freedom of speech.

Fuck hurting people's feelings, especially in such trivial matters such as ideologies and belief.

It is your responsability to not let the hate affect you. Live by an example of love, and the people around you will learn. Do not advocate censoring people just because you disagree with what they are saying, no matter how completely idiotic it is.

I agree that all things should be voiced, but not neccesarily acted upon. I think, it's mean and horrible to, for instance, say that a certain culture is the scum of Earth, but if some one wants to say that they should be able to, but they shouldn't act on it by lashing out violently against that culture.

I guess what I meant to say, was everything can be voiced, but some things should stop at voicing, in order not to conflict with the peace of civilization

Alot more people hurt indeed.

One of the not too many positive things in modern American society is the security and safety. People cannot act upon their hate, or they face penalties.

You must realize that such a concept didn't even exist in most of the world 100 years ago.

And let people say whatever they want, but realize that you need to respect others. Even if they dont respect you back, make an example with your positive energy.

 

Do not get me wrong, I am not advocating censorship or restriction of free speech. I am just trying to understand how these people think. And why they feel the need to come into this forum and spread hate. Not the occasional "STFU", I mean true hate.
Of course all of our "freedoms" mean we have to put up with the assholes, but I am still gonna try to change the world for the better, despite them.

 

The one thing that I have noticed is that there are a few people, one in particular that comes to mind who are long time members of this forum with thousands of post who seem to just come on and shoot people down.....this one person makes it a point to reply with negative posts whenever she sees something that is not "her way"..."her way" is always the best way and anyone who does it differently from "her way" is wrong....its OK if you have more knowledge or experience with something than someone else....that happens all the time, but it would be alot more effective to share POSITIVE words than just making snyde (sp?) remarks or just shooting people's ideas and questions down......its not hating Jews or Blacks......but it is a small building block towards it.....

I really wish i could do a thing about the daily racial struggles, but people just don't seem to understand that kindness achieves much more then taunting and expressing hate.
