I wouldn't think he invented the vision but simply articulated it, he who believes in me believes not in me but the one who sent me. DNA could well be the reason. If DNA is the source however, I would say that Jesus does indeed span the whole of human history, bearing the wisdom of 3 billion years of evolution.

A tad convinient, imho. But if you wish to add jesus to the entire human history, I guess that is something I can not change.

I am just pointing out that the mammalian brain rides piggy back on the lizard brain, and for us is has been very convenient indeed. From this perspective not only is Jesus a central player in all human history, but so are you.

...my point is that we did not always have Jesus or need him. We spent a lot of time with out any thought of Jesus. To insert him into all of history because he is part of modern history, is unfair...and very convinient, imho.

I agree with you about convenience. Could you help me with the unfairness? I don't see how I am inserting Jesus in any fashion other than what is. We don't need mosquitoes as far as I can see but they affect the lives of millions.

...did you know what I meant?

We did not always think the earth was round. We did not always know that the continents fitted together. There are many things we did not know. We were still happy. I'm saying we did not always know of Jesus, and to add him to history prior to us knowing of Jesus is unfair. it's retrospective and assuming you are right.

Since this thread is a Christian Sanctuary I feel compelled to add the concept of the Trinity. God was - is - and will be. All things were created by God. Saying that, Jesus Is God or at least part of God. Since God created everything and Jesus was God incarnate - it follows that Jesus indeed spans the length of human history.

Please do not take this to mean I am not an evolutionist - I am - I believe that was God's way of creating all things - beginning with 1 cell and building from there over hundreds of billions of years.

And I might add, I have no idea who God is or what he is or where he is . Only that he is.

Too tall - she'd have to be five foot two or less to qualify for short. I'm still thinking about the "sweet" part...

I'm just suggesting you could be wrong and should not be so content that you are right.
