I always enjoyed the old Austin Powers movies myself. I also like a movie called East Is East. But in general I'm not much into the normal comedy because my sense of humour can't take it.

My favorite would have to be It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World. This movie has so many stars in it and it has stood the test of time for 40 years now. I watch it every time it comes on and it is always brilliant.

mater of fact Brooks stated that what they got away with Blazing Saddles they could not i hell get away with it today and even lots of stuff was cut off becouse it was just to much for the conservative in hollywood to swallow.

What utter nonsense..! You have to have a sense of humour to appreciate it, but that's all. It's the greatest comedy series of all time.

Do i have to understand Jewish humour to appreciate it?

Mel Brooks movies are very enjoyable~ i saw not too long ago a series coming out featuring about mel brooks movies, it was a box set with around five movies, high anxiety was one and young frankenstein, cant remember the rest that are in the box set, but anyways i would love to have the whole collection. :)

Stir Crazy, with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. Closely followed by The Mouse that Roared, Blazing Saddles, Stripes and Flashback.
