Battlefield Earth is the worst movie ever. Pink Flamingos is bad, but in a respectable way. I dont know how to put that. i like the movie, but its terrible.
Somebody's already mentioned Ocean's Twelve I think and I would like to add some scorpion venom to it, too. You see, the first film, technically weren't too bad, but the second one wasn't just crap, it was a rip off. The only con in the whole movie was us who went and paid to see it! The first film was about ripping off a casino. The second film was a motion picture portfolio of Michael Douglas's wife. Lovely, excellent, but I went to the cinema thinking I was going to see a carefully planned heist, not to be heisted. I've seen more talented criminals lurking on the subways of most major cities. This is the kind of film that should be seen by anorexics. It will help them throw up. Did anyone who actually see this really undestand what it was all about? And what was that garbage about Julia Roberts playing a parody of herself? Oh! Julia Roberts is actually a human!?! Just like us! Well fuck me backwards with a spanner! And I was under the impression that she was from Alpha Centauri. Yes, folks, even rich people have feelings, just like us! If these actors/actresses were so great and talented, they would have the guts to say:"You know what? If I had to choose between your script and a colostomy bag, guess what? Shitbag wins!" but few have the balls to do that, because they know what will happen. They'll stop working and in a couple of years we'll be buying their movies from the bargain bin at Blockbusters. But you know what? I've got respect for the actors who say no to shit movies, because at least they remain a legend. Ocean's twelve? Make sure yoy don't eat before you see it! It's a steamer. PS. And George Clooney can fuck off, too.
Ok....the wash kicked ass and donnie darko is the worst of all time? Maybe Donnie Darko was too advanced for you, but then again I'm sure that "the wash" presented the complete dichomatic view of our universe.....you know a world of mechanistic laws, no god, and no free will vs. a world with god and no free will that actually has free will when you realize that you are god! Throw in all the quantum physics and logically plausible theories of time travel and Yeah I'm sure "the wash" covered some real topics..........such pathetic taste!!!!
I've never seen "The Wash" but I happen to agree with you about "Donnie Darko"...love that movie. I also happen to like "Big Fish" which I gather from a different post of yours to me, that you don't. Clearly we have similar and different tastes. Oh well. I don't see the need for you to be so overly opinionated and deem someone that likes a different movie than you to have "pathetic taste". Can you imagine if we all liked the same things all the time? How boring!
Gigli ( with Ben Affleck and Jlo) this is probably the worst I don't know why I wasted time in my life to listen to this.
because i'd rather have a heated debate rather than playing the "diversity trump card" over this specific post. you haven't seen the wash, but thanks for your support on donnie darko.....now to the original poster, what is so grand about the wash....i have offered a brief summary of why donnie darko is a movie of substance. now its your turn!!!
Me and my friend got kicked out of the theatre for LAUGHING at that. All the 'scary' stuff was so lame it was hilarious.. by like the 30 minute mark we were both in stitches and in tears.
Open Water was a brililant psychological thriller. I was cringing in my seat by the end of it. I felt like I was going insane along with those divers. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. No Taste.....
