I, too, felt the power of Sedona, AZ.... what a magical place.

and then, there's the Grand Canyon.

AND the surrounding woods in a campground called BlueJay in the Cleveland National Forest in Southern CA.

I definetely feel the power in those places.

Swiss alps, I left my traveling group and got lost off one of the trails, and ended up looking over a cliff down into the valley as a storm rolled in, it was amazing!

I went to Gaian Mind this past June, which was a psytrance music festival on a Pagan commune. This place was in the deep deep woods of south central PA. I took part in the openning cermony. It was down pouring at the time. The wind started to pick up. I'm an air sign, so every time there is intense wind I feel energized. The wind made the rain do this crazy spiral around the circle. I looked up and I saw the Goddess. She was so beautiful. I felt her enter my body. It was so intense. There were hundreds of people around the circle. The next night I was walking through the woods, barefoot, in the pouring rain and I thought I saw the God run by me. I NEVER see him. I think it's because of the fact that I'm female and I can relate more to the Goddess, but it's great to have a run in with the God. This place was the most intense place. It felt like a totally different world. I wish I could experience this more, but it's hard to find these types of places and like-minded people around here in the synthedic world. I think I'm going to try to return for Samhain.

The ancient burial site Knowth in Ireland.

(We didn't get to Newgrange, but Knowth was just as good. Though it was raining and was freezing cold, it was a beautiful experience.)

sequia national forest in california... not on the really touristy trails or the "named" trees, just being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by millenia-old towering lives. a beautiful, moving, growing, patient place.

Belo Abismo is one of my places I visit in my dreams. Also I go to My grandmothers house in Alameda. The desert over by tombstone in AZ. and the river at Buck Meadows. The energy is amazing. I try to go there whenever I can!

This happened to me recently. I went to an abbey. They were having a prayer session in the cathedral. I went to watch and I was moved by their spirtuality and intense prayers.

The cemetery of the Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Portsmouth, Virginia. Buried in the Church grounds less than a stone's throw from the East wall of the Commodore Theatre (and the Twenty-First Century) is John Braidfoot. My favourite place in all of Tidewater.

Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto Japan---the head shrine of the Fushimi Inari sect of Shintoism, especially a little corner of the shrine (which covers most of a mountain) where there is a small waterfall and a small altar carved out of the inside of the cliff with a statue of the Mountain Goddess set inside it, and some candles. Also a small run down Buddhist temple at the end of a mountain trail in Northern Kyoto, Amida-ji (Amida Temple).

Then there is every Lakota sun dance I have been to, every sweat lodge, the mountain where I did my first vision quests, and then Bear Butte in South Dakota
