By the way, American Spirit make cigarettes with Organic Tobacco. Also cigarette filters are not made out of plastic they are cotton. Check your facts before you make an arguement.

Yes I know that they are bad for me but I really don't give a shit at this time. When it is time for me to quit I will. I periodically quit sometimes for years.

it's the natives in the north of the americas that drove entire herds off cliffs cos they didn't have the wherewithall or patience to hunt efficiently.. the ones in the south merely ritually practiced human sacrifice and misused tobacco to the point where it fried their internal bits, which they mistook for a spiritual experience.

the point was/is that the use of tobacco isn't in sync with nature... and neither were the first people who used it

there has never been anything spiritual, good or wholesome about the production, use or marketing of tobacco... and there never will be.

 

nicotine tar (slightly diluted) has also been used as a very effective insecticide for centuries.. finally banned because they realised that inhaling the vapour while using it will kill a human as well as an insect... and it's exactly the same stuff that fills a smokers lungs.... tho' i suppose on the plus side a smokers lungs will never get infested with greenfly.

With all of the actual terrible things in the world, like the gulf oil spill, and female genital mutilations throughout 90 percent of Africa and the middle-east, and people being murdered, and mammoth nuclear waste storage locations, we're all going to worry about leaves decaying? What may seem foolish to one man may be very spiritual to another. Just because you look at something a certain way doesn't mean that all cultures throughout history should be held to your opinions. A spiritual experience is rarely spiritual to the participants because of the direct action being preformed, but because of what they take away from the experience.

As for me,

I try to keep it on the low, have only smoked probably 2-3 years (waited till I was 22 in fact to really buy my own). Haven't gotten addicted yet! Lately taking a break, haven't bought a pack for almost a month now. Probably better that way before it becomes an expensive habit...

I think that we should let all of those people who want to make more and more laws and make more rules and more taxes all go live in one place and have a ton of laws and rules and stuff.
