#1.) Zilla. without question, they take your high to a new level. beware, and do not opporate heavy machinery when high and listening to zilla bc you will zone out in a dreamlike state

#2.) KiloWatts. takes a little while longer to build up to the climaxes, but its worth the time investment. one of the best producers/dj's i can think of...takes you through a whirlwind of a dream, and all the highs and lows of it...

Psychedelic, prog, jazz, classical, electronic, ambient, rock... it's all good and usually depends on the high/my mood. Usually I listen to pretty much the same music while high and sober, with some minor variations.

Crosby, Stills and Nash are one of my favorite bands to get stoned to. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned them...

I'm surprised that I didn't see anyone mention Jimi Hendrix. That's always a favorite of mine.

Bands that creep into your brain then light up the best parts of it while your tokin' are Dead Meadow, The Black Angels, and Widespread Panic. If you like old school: The Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage, MC5, Allman Bros. They'll all mellow your mood and stone your ride.
