i voted LZII, that album changed my life, the way i play guitar etc,
that album had it all, Moby Dick, those smooth pounding basslines, etc
theres only one song on there i sometimes skip, other then that it's just perfect all the way through. I know they went on to achive much more and "greater" things after, but for me, this has got be there best

Man, it's so tough... part of me wants to go with the first album, because every song is great, and I just think it's so impressive that they were rocking out as hard as ever right from the get-go. Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti are so impressive in their scope and diversity... but I'm going to have to go with the cheesy pick, the fourth album. I just can't bring myself to go with anything else. From the opening whirring noise and jaw-breaking first vocal of Black Dog to the pounding riff of Misty Mountain Hop all the way to those last haunting chords of When the Levee Breaks, the album never lets up. Well, Four Sticks isn't quite up to par with the rest of the songs, but hey, I guess listeners need a little breather somewhere in there.

II, IV, or Houses of the Holy, although I haven't listened to III all the way through since I was 13, so perhaps I should rediscover it.

I would have to say Led Zeppelin 2. The bass lines on What Is and What Should Never Be, Bring it on Home, and Moby Dick are too bad ass.

I like "Houses of the Holy" a lot, but "In Through the Out Door" is also a great album. I think those are Zeppelin's two top albums.

live at the Seattle Colliseum 1976 (bootlegs rock)

I really like them all independently of each other, but I had to go with Houses of The Holy. Shit is PERFECT.

Jeffrey John you're totally right. That's exactly what I think. all of em' are really great, but Houses of the holy is the best, i like it the most. Maybe cause it's the first zeppelin album i have listened to, this is the album that made me looove led zeppelin, and no matter what, i'll always consider it the best.

Led Zep II for me. Pure Rock 'n' Roll.

I've definitely OD'd on Stairway To Heaven. Can't listen to that song anymore,
sadly it's turned into a cliche for me.

    Zep 1 - great.
    Zep 2 - overrated
Zep 3 - don't know it very well
    Zep 4 - classic
Houses Of The Holy - nearly as good
Physical Graffiti - don't know all of it
    Presence - don't have it
In Through The Out Door - great. V. underrated

Led Zeppelin 4 was definitely the best. It's got 'Stairway To Heaven' on, for crying out loud.

I can't choose. I, II and Houses are high up there for me. I'd also like to give Presence a nod since probably no one else will. Achilles Last Stand is the best thing they ever did.

Nobody for Coda ?...it's so surprising... their last 3 albums were just deservin' 3/5 possible stars note ...

I hesitate always between Zep III Zep IV and House of the Holly... Physicall Graffiti is good but a lil bit too overloaded and heavy for my taste ... cocaine was leadin' their balloon by 1975 ... but at that time most other popular bands were cocaine crazies as well... stones...eagles...black sabbath...aerosmith etc...
