G'mornin' folks. Been a busy week here. Had to move an entire house load of shit Thursday & clean up the rest Friday. Now we're waxin' the kitchen & cafeteria floors & prepping to wrap an assload of Xmas gifts

Although it is Sunday and everyone should have a day off.

Funny thing
I've seen more solidarity and care for the working man in countries like Switzerland where you can't find a place open on a Sunday
Than I've seen in a country that prides itself on its Catholicism, but continues to exploit its fearful workers

 

I'm going to my dads for Christmas eve eve lunch today. Ham , potatoes n stuff....

Then I might hit a store in my town that sells ugly Christmas sweaters. I need something to wear festive. I'm invited to my best friends home on Christmas for a huge party. I should try to look the part.

I'm in a good place with the next few days coming up. Everyone is making sure I'm okay and that I have a place to be..... and extending invites in addition to the ones I'm already attending.

I'd be screwed without this love coming from every direction.

Dad died 7 years ago today...actually, 7 years and 1/2 hour ago. The weather is similar too, slightly overcast and breezy. So bad time of year for me, but I'm cool. I'm already looking forward to January 2nd when everything gets back to normal.

thanks. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately, you couldn't hear the guitar very well. I was looking forward to that. They were there with their drummer, keyboardist, and vocalist. The bass really drowned out most of the intricacies I enjoy about their music though. As a result, I left about 19 minutes into their set. But the opening act was cool, and I got some dancing in before the floor was too full.

 

I'm feeling all loved up towards humanity these last few days.
We're all just so cute and funny. Silly little creatures taking it all so seriously.

I like that humans decorate trees for Christmas.

Such an odd thing to do when you think about it. I like when humans are odd.

 

nobody helped me put my tree together. fat ass sat, drank booze, next morning running her tramp mouth. Ive never known people so miserable with their own life they must bring others down with drama. Get so drunk that they cant handle reality the next day. Clock is ticking away.

 

I'm doing Orthodox Christmas.
This one is for family, and currently it feels a bit overwhelming, and I am not feeling it.
Orthodox will be for a couple of friends. Just whatever food and drinks, no fuss. An actually fun Christmas.

I really enjoy watching the movie Silver Linings Playbook ~2012 romantic comedy-drama.

The overall vibe, feel and meaning of the movie for me says: WE all have our quirks n weird acts that should put us in a mental institution.

We're the same in so many ways on so many different levels.

Make sure you don't dress too warmly for a huge, indoor gathering. It tends to be hot as Hell at those sometimes.
