What's Happening???

*stomach gurgles*

 

It was devastating when it first happened 10 years ago.

I'm just glad my parents and his dad, my brother, were already deceased when it happened. It would have been too much for any of them to live through.

 

I'm really hungry. I'll make some quick soup, now.

 

I just had a delicious venison sausage sandwich.
It will last me until Mally's curry is done.

 

I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch but it's been raining so much, it's flooding in some parts.

I'm going to bake cookies after work, I've decided. Red velvet cookies, mmm.

 

I'm thinking of doing pork loins with sauteed courgettes and honey and mustard mix glaze tonight. It's my own made up recipe.

 

I've been thinking of going vegetarian. I dont eat meat that much anyways. The only thing I would struggle giving up is sausage. Sausage is so tasty

 

I think I'll make beef sausages, pototoes, and onions.

 

Good to see he's not looking like a 75 pound tweaker anymore.

 

That would be good. I think Driftrue needs some solidarity.

I do not need solidarity. I encourage all to cut down and to only eat free range locally raised creatures, or road kill, or hunted.. for the environment.

But my own feelings that it isn't right to eat sentient creatures unless I have to... that only applies to me. I don't even think it's true for someone who doesn't feel it. It isn't that they don't feel it's wrong: it ISN'T wrong.

 

Don't risk protein and B12 deficiency unless you really are compelled to : )

Sorry I hate when I keep having afterthoughts, I should have put this all in one post.

 

Well for a while I was doing good at only buying from local farms. I do very much morally object to factory farming.

But I just dont have the time to make the trip to a farm to buy my meat everytime, the closest one is 45 minutes away. And there arent any nearby farmers markets in the winter. So i've gotten bad about just buying from the supermarket but it always grosses me out a little if I think about it too hard.

Hence why i'm considering going vegetarian

 

Plus I already eat a vegetarian diet 70% of the time

Yeah, if there is something I have to not think about in order to do it... I usually try to alter my behaviour. It's good to be cohesive.

 

There's probably organic meat in one of those supermarkets?

 

School's out until January 7th. Next Semester I'm taking a course in Electronic Music, and one in Sociology of Gender.

So since I'm not doing anything else today's agenda includes going for walks and doing some shopping just for the sake of shopping.
