What's Happening???

We went w/ lights on the wreath, was nice until half the lights went out. Then it looked like a giant lit C, so now we are back to green fir, pine cones and holly berries.

 

Yea, hadn't thought of that. I like the projectors with what looks like falling snow.

 

I liked some of those as well. One house nearby lit up the side of their home along the beltway. It had a Christmas scene, Halloween, Easter etc. I always liked to see what they projected while stuck in traffic.

 

I'm kind of the same but I wouldn't say I am impressed by those that have faith.

I've explored psychedelics fairly extensively and some of those experiences have produced transcendent experiences, which I feel could be comparable to certain religious experiences.

 

With all of this talk about the catholic church today, wasn’t anyone else concerned about the 6 year old boy who breached Vatican City security today
and ran amok among dozens of sex starved priests,

Been up all night writing for my writing course. My tutor says my writing is good but I need to work on the way I express emotion. I guess I come from the Hemingway school of "less is more", and I don't really like sappy writing. Or long descriptive passages. I like writing dialogue the best.

 

I've been writing for the last 3 days. Needed to get this 30 line poem done so the words can be printed on a canvas painting.

Xmas gift for the dance studio I go to.

Just hope Gary can mount the canvas on a wood frame in time.

 

I need to get new ink for my printer. I'm sure ink doesn't last as long as it did compared to when I was at University.

I must concede though, in keeping with Irm's premise of Religion and (some) Science being the same, that is another area which shares similarities with String Theorists. You know, with all those reports of String Theorists luring kids into their laboratories to seduce them with prospects of breaking open quarks and electrons, Lorentz Invariance equations and multiplying dimensions to resolve Special Relativity with Quantum Mechanics.

Clearly many parallels drawn between the sex scandals of the Catholic Church and these science institutions.
