I saw him laying behind me and I knew he was going to try and wreck me which is why I saved the car lol. He's a douche, he's still whinging about it. He's the only one in the world that thinks I was in the wrong. I can get a replay too, of thay incident.

That's pretty cool. So you are an esports announcer. I didn't even know there were esports commentators, let alone leagues. Then again I am a doddering old guy:)

I'm thinking about going to a Catholic church and slowly converting to Catholicism. My life is pretty fucked and I really need it. People won't get it but I just don't care. I had an experience. I need something strong to hold on to, that will sustain me through tough times. I've been thinking about this for some time and I'm not saying this just to impress EloiseAtThePlaza. I need to voice it and I feel compelled to voice it now even if it's just to a few friends on a small forum.

Yeah, it's pretty big now I know you can even bet on eSports etc. They do massive conventions too, we are a very small team but quite popular and getting more interest. We want to be able to land the big money deals for broadcast rights, like $10,000 type stuff but at the moment being all recreational fun we can't really sell our skills for this much as we are still finding our voices for it but we are getting there. I've realised that commentating online has helped me in real life social situations too.

That's good and positive. I hope you find what you're looking for. If it doesn't work out don't stray from anything like that. Personally I believe you are better off following something culturally significant to you, but I guess Christianity is a pretty big part of UK culture. :)

If it doesn't work out though, I've a whole pantheon of things to follow. ;) so we'll find what's right for you.

  7. Ugh, Catholics...the worst people.

  8. I've literally never met a Catholic, ex or otherwise, that wasn't a complete snob.

Christianity IS my culture. I was Christened in Church as baby. I tried Buddhism but I really didn't like it. Don't worry I won't be banging on about Jesus all the time. It's no big deal.

See, I can appreciate religions because I feel if someone wants to learn something about themselves or can see positivity for their life in following a religion then that's beautiful and I'm all for it. I poke fun at diff religions but I'm actually quite into it all I just know for me personally I have no significance to what happened in distant desert sand so for me, I'm all about Saxon based processes because I find they relate to me and my ways more.

Gonna go eat some Mexican. Cha cha....

  13. Exactly. Phony Christians, telling people to piss off, looking for a big state run religion to dispose of all their enemies. Catholics are garbage.

Well I didn't get selected for jury duty, thank God. It would have been a cool case to decided however. Dude is accused of violating an emergency protective order and breaking into his ex-wife's house. He then proceeded to attack her with a hammer; her two young sons were present while all this was going on. She managed to escape to her neighbor's house to find help.

I saw yesterday you might serve on jury but did not have a chance to post. I wanted to tell you what a great experience I have had on the jury. I serve 3-4 times. I find most jurist take the entire process seriously. Our dialog was great, sometimes argumentative but always civil, way better than the forums. The only part I hated was the constant adjourning, it was like lawyers worked 3 hours a day. the loss of wages can be burdensome for many but totally worth the experience.

Oh I would have taken it seriously had I been picked. My problems were that I am out of vacation days for the year and, seeing as it was expected to be a three day trial, I would have had to serve without pay. Also, I have major back pain that makes it difficult to sit for long periods of time. If it hadn't been for those two things I probably would have enjoyed it.
