Yesterday went for a bike ride, temps hit 60F (15C). Everyone was out and about after the frigid cold and heavy rains. Still trying to fix my microwave, new one will not fit into the cabinet space, ugh. rain again today. What happened to dry fall??? Also trying to catch up with this site, something to do during the raining day.. I swear you miss a day or 2 and you are way behind.

You must learn to perfect the nap. Not too long but long enough (15-30 minutes max) , do not lay down, sit in a comfy chair and nod. wake slowly and you'll feel like a new person. I use to laugh at my friends that nap, now I embrace them when time allows.

Had one of them, operation removed the 'flap' that continually caused problem. All went well but the doc did tell me I had bone on bone arthritis. I gave up running and took to biking. Good move, more fun less pain

It's good that you embrace your friends who nap, but you should embrace your other friends sometimes, too.

I did this. It showed that part of me came from Iberia. We have Spanish/French genetics. Apparently Iberia is Spain, Portugal and southern France.

I had to google that, lots of those areas seeking independence. I went to DC folk festival last summer and Catalonia was one of the provinces represented. They had great food and interesting art and music.

I've got this too, both knees. I've abused my knees because my back doesn't work.

The torn meniscus in my left knee is lateral, basically "non-operable" or better put, yeah they can operate but it won't do any good. Now my right knee is going through the same thing but I haven't had it checked... Doctors cost too much money.

Biking has really helped my knee pain. It builds the muscles above and below the knee, this alleviates the bone on bone pain. Should you pursue biking , just make sure the bike fits as a bad bike fit can aggravate the area.

If the neighbors who let their dogs out on us ever decide to move, I might take up bike riding.

As it is, I'm afraid to walk the dogs off my property.
