What's Happening???

Laying in bed, watching The Shining

 

Just chilling in bed. 4th day of being sick.

 

I went and picked up the pet supplies at Walmart.

Now, I'm home waiting on my daughter's new t.v. to be delivered.

I'm going to cook a meatloaf later.

One of the neighbor's 14 year old daughter's ran away this morning at 5:00. The mother and younger 2 children live here; that 14 year old girl and the 15 year old boy live with their dad in TN.

She's gone with a 19 yr. old who is homeless and carless. He's been arrested several times for assault and even beat the shit out of his own parents.

The mother is worried sick being here and the daughter being gone in TN.

Then, as I was typing this, I heard the raccoon attack another cat out back or down in the crawl space.

Fuck.

 

That's really unfortunate. Hope the mother doesn't get more bad news.

And also, how sad that the raccoon keeps doing that. They're little fuckers with their opposable thumbs.

How many kittens do you have that this keeps happening to?

 

There are two kittens that live in the carport with their mother and a couple more semi-ferals. There are probably about 8 adult semi-ferals in the back. I don't know if they have kittens stashed away or not.

 

Wow that's a lot of cats.

Sorry they keep getting attacked. That's no fun at all.

 

It is alot of cats. We've gotten so many of them spayed and neutered but not all of them.

I just baited the trap for the raccoon so we wait.

I don't think it's doing this out of hunger. There is plenty of food out. I don't know if it's gone rabid or not.

 

Hopefully you catch that raccoon!

I wonder if it's just gone mad. Raccoons used to destroy our trash can just to get to a bag of cat poop.

I came home once to a trash lid completely destroyed (when change costs damn near $100 to get a new one) because the ONLY thing in it was a bag of cat poop. I was pissed.

 

I know for a fact there are 3 raccoon. I've seen them eating the cat food all together.

 

That's way too many! Catch em all if you can.

 

Watching the show Pitbulls & Parolees. It's so great to see these dogs finding loving homes after all they've been through, and it also helps the parolees to get their lives back by giving them a purpose. I really like this show.

 

Spending a cold, dreary day inside baking and doing arts and crafts and listening to nostalgic music that gives me all the feels

These are my favorite sort of days

 

^throw in a (lame or not so lame) christmas movie, and replace arts and crafts with a lil reading, and - perfection.


For some reason I am better at baking than I am at cooking.
I haven't in a while (when one is alone, one doesn't need much)...but it was always somewhat relaxing.
Chaotic at times, but enjoyable.

 

The arts and crafts was my son's idea but now he's ran off to hide in a pilllow fort and i'm stuck here trying to carry out his vision to the best of my ability.

 

Trying to shop online, waiting on t.v. and raccoon.

Her living room is rustic and the colors are teal and dark brown.

 

I got my son's wife this crossbody bag because the one she has is not long enough.

It's the teal on that is fully zippered closed.
