Everyone's body chemistry is different. It takes me about a week to get into ketosis, so if I eat carbs once a week, I'll never hit that state where my weight will free fall. I won't gain weight, but I won't lose it either. Some people take two weeks to get into ketosis. Some lucky people can do it 3-4 days. So however often it is...find how long it takes you to get into ketosis, and then eat a carb meal once that many days. You shouldn't lose any weight if you do it that way. That's how I maintain my weight.

I can only go on feel alone, I didnt do a ketone test or anything, but I started feeling different around day 4 or 5...so i think I will try that, i'll treat myself to pasta and pizza every 4 days and do low carbs otherwise. I need to do something because i'm gonna od on ibuprofen otherwise. Thanks for the advice homeslice!

I also went to the gym after school yesterday, which I never do. I limit my fluid intake on school days because my commute is so long and I do not want to find myself needing to use the loo while on the bus. I ended up slamming three bottles of water at the gym. Later in the evening, I took midol for my cramps. Welll, midol helps eliminate water retention. So amidst being unable to sleep, I was literally up every 10 minutes going to the bathroom.
