Why is it that when guys reach a certain age they all start walking stupidly. Some grow out of it, but some do it all their life. They look stupid.

On a more serious note gotta go shoot a cow today. Lost one about a week & a half ago & just got wind of him from the neighbors. He's too wild so we're just gonna have to end him. $3,000 down the shitter right there, not to mention a life

 

Reckon I just walk like my knees & back are 40 years ahead of their time.....slowly, purposefully, & with the occasional hitch in my giddyup

Yeah. Suzi was my favorite dog of theirs. Now that she's gone though, Sophie has grown on me a little bit. I think too, as my parents get older it would be hard to have zero dogs, having previously owned two. Thank you for your kind words!

That is terrifying and totally awful. I can't imagine their horror. That is one of the things I dread about taking classes on a college campus. You wonder when someone is going to lose it and do something like that, but this one sounds particularly awful.

 

Showed up with some material for the crew at 7 o:clock and was greeted by fire trucks, cops and the news!! Directly behind where they were going to tear off the roof--were 3 burning houses. Turns out, some guy set at least one house on fire and then when the cops and fire department showed up--he started firing at them! The news is not complete yet, but I guess he shot himself eventually. Smoky as hell, so the boys went to another job. I'm glad it happened before any of the crew got there. Probably nationwide news by now. Never a dull moment, these days.
