No. You aren't supposed to use Immodium when you have C-Diff.

Have you tried yogurt with probiotics? I was just reading probiotics have seen some success in treating diarrhea from c diff. Might help you through the night until you can get to the hospital at least

I was having some Greek yogurt while I was on the Cipro for the UTI but I stopped eating that and went to the Banatrol Plus because that's what hospitals use.

Aeri you and I have very similar digestive issues, I wanna talk about something I tried around my wedding date. I looked into probiotics too, but what can happen is you might just be putting more bacteria into your system and that's a gamble with taking them. The label looks and sounds good, but the outcome might be no different.

I tried a formula of "modbiotics" which is a compound of anti bacterial fungi, it was basically a vege greens mix, absolutely disgusting. The difference is instead of putting "good bacteria" into your system which might actually just flourish your existing bacteria and multiply it, the modbiotic is designed to go into your system and kill the bacteria.

I took a ten day challenge. The first days aren't good. I couldn't go to the toilet. I wasn't producing any lube because the modbiotic went in and killed all the spores and bacteria. I felt bloated, irritated, fat and generally not good. At day 4 I was able to go to the toilet. Not nice. You're now passing all the dead bacteria out, it's not nice.. Then you start to built a routine and pattern. I only lasted 8 days I just couldn't do the taste anymore. I held my nose and swallowed. I still tasted it.

But after 8 days I felt a dramatic difference with my digestion and stomach issues. I want to do it again, and this time keep it up every 2 days after my 10 day challenge.

Worth a look into. It's a complete cleanse rather than adding more bacteria.

That sounds like something I might want to look into in a few months probably.

My youngest sister is a personal trainer and now has qualifications in nutrition and health. She bought the stuff for me to my wedding and I started taking it the day after. It was called Gutrite from Infinite Labs. I'm sure America will have their own versions. But yeah look into it, I think you'll find a glimpse of hope and it will make a lot of sense. I watched all the podcasts and read the reviews. I can vouch it did well for me, I didn't have the discipline to follow it perfectly but I still felt the difference.

I know it's hard getting so much advice, it'd be handy if someone knew a doctor to give us proper advice (eh they'd just send you to a nutritionist anyway) but seeing as I think our issues are very similar,. I had to bring it up. :)

Just got done a fun jam session. Finally nailed The stone by Dave Matthews band. Played some CCR and a host of others. Until my idiot friend tried to tend the fire with his bare hands and picked up a burning log... That was pretty much the end of that. But we had fun.
