What's Happening???

A couple of times, hubby has hurt his toes from squatting. It's like he puts too much bend and pressure on them especially when trying to get up. Of course, he can't feel his feet.

 

Back at work. I missed this place.

After the honeymoon and the trip back home, where I ended up incurring the wrath of family members for my refusal to treat my grandmother like a child, I need some dull, monotonous routine back in my life.

 

Howdy folks. Been another good mornin' here on the farm. Had to wrangle six cows & two pigs yesterday. The three reds were loaded up to put in the far field with their pals & the three blacks were put in the trailer for shippin' off which is what we done this mornin'. One thing about farmin' like this, you gotta really be in tune with what's goin' on animal wise. So few folks these days ever gotta put any thought into how that beef, pork, or chicken ends up on their plate. That disconnect is what's gotten us all fuckered up as a society. It ain't a life it's just meat. Makes me sick.

true. I'm not as good about it as I should be, but I do try to buy from small local farms as often as possible. Factory farming is a pretty disgusting practice

 

Damn straight. Packin' thousands of head of cattle into space that shouldn't fit more than a couple. Forcin' them to stand there & just get full of grain then shippin' 'em off just to die. Ain't right ain't no kinda life. They deserve better.......so do we

i have diabetic genes but so far my sister and i have avoided it...


the only thing i can think of that may have been a cause was that day i went hunting i did a hell of a lot of walking....i had really comfortable shoes on though..not my boots

it was the next day or two i noticed the pain building

Oh my sister had a baby today. So yay, new baby in the family...So nice, can't wait to smell!
