I got sunburned today.

But I'll take that over the emotional rollercoaster at the zoo today.

What happened at the zoo?

 

I wear spf moisturising cream and my cowboy hat so I'm pretty OK at not getting burned. I also carry 50fps sun spray in my bag for when I sit on the sun lol.

I had a everlasting sitting bench made of all weather composite materials in Misty's memory.

It will always be proudly shown at the Milwaukee Zoo by the Flamingo Exhibit.

The Zoo loved it and gave me a little tiny 3 min ceremony today in her Honor. Misty loved the Flamingos so much. We took a picture of her every year.

And this year was no exception. She still got her picture taken, just not the form she wanted. She tried so hard to get well and to be here the way she wanted.


The portrait of Misty has some light refractions, it's why it looks like broken glass. Unavoidable. Sunny backlite.
