Nah it hasnt even rained that hard yet. The outer bands are just now making it to us and the rain is relatively light.

The wind gusts are pretty strong though! But i love it, i'm sitting on my porch right now and it feels so wonderful outside

    Did jury duty one time...

Me and 199 other people sat in a room for 7 hours with nothing to do but miss out on a work day. They never called anyone. Right before they allowed us to leave they came in and thanked us. Because of the cameras in the room they had 5 plea bargains from criminals that didn't want any of those 200 pissed off people on a jury... I got gas money for my drive down there.

My work pays something ridiculous, like up to 80 hours for jury duty. So i would totally be fine with missing work for a couple of weeks

I'd do it. People complain but I think it could be fun. I'd probably go not guilty though because I'm not going to judge someone life, so I hope they were not guilty.

Yeah i couldnt do anything where the death penalty could come up. I would be dismissed immediately from that jury, thats not a call i'm willing to make

I don't follow Christianity or anything but like, judging is one of the biggest sins you can make lol. It literally says it again and again. And again and again and again and again, from different angles. If you judge, you're a sinner!

I know it's bonkers and people tell me all the time, but I don't think I'm anybody to tell another anybody what's right or how to live. Unless it's a child rapist or something and you know they're guilty. Then I'd be fucken nasty as.

Wellfleet, Mass. I used to surf there when I was living in Boston. Accumulated time spent in those waters must be in the hundreds of hours. And now, two attacks in one month.

The thought of shark attack never even entered my mind back then.

Yeah, who'd think there'd be sharks in salt water. Bloody outrageous it is.

You could also get it wrong, which is why I don't support the death penalty at all. Innocent people are put to death a lot more often than people want to know.

We as a society are ignoring those people and writing their deaths off as collateral damage. It's ironic that people who support the death penalty are okay with killing innocent people. Isn't that who the death penalty is reserved for in the first place?
