The most adult thing I ever did was go to the theatre on the weekend lol.

I'm kind of annoyed at my work. I sold my VW because I was getting a tray back from work. They gave me the keys and a battery charger. Because the battery goes dead every night. So now I have to jump start it. I sold my most memorable car for this..

I'm half tempted to throw the towel in. They offered a lot and I can go places with them, problem is I'm not sure I want to be in those places anymore. I was quite happy where I was. :(

Monthly Pay, really. I prefer getting paid every week.

In the Military you get paid on the 1st and 15th of each month, which I didn’t mind, but once every month - I’d hate that.

I'm pretty sure monthly also gets taxed more as it is a larger income in one go. See I never got paid at my last job so getting taxed didn't bother me. Now I'm paid and I get taxed lol. And I notice this lol.

    That's how I felt about being a stay-at-home-mother.

That's what my wife is, well not a mother but she doesn't have to do anything. She tells me I don't either, but I can't sit and read books all day like she can. I have to be out doing something. This job now I just wanted some side cash so I could throw more money towards our home loan. When I think about it now, I don't plan on moving if I don't have to, so what do I care if I pay the loan off in 15yrs or 25yrs? If I really wanted to I'd just sell a property, pay this off, start again with a cheaper unit or town house or something. I'd still be miles ahead. I just see myself as a working girl though.

I remember I got asked about the riders for race horse day. I should have followed that up, I could be doing something I actually love, being on horse.

Find something you love because not everyone is fortunate enough to have that luxury. Take advantage of it. Don't live a mundane existence if you have a choice.

I actually think it's the luxury of not having to work that pushes me to work, because I know everybody else has to, and I'm too young to not have to. That's why I worked a non paying job for years, I felt like I was giving back something I shouldn't have earned.

I know I got a stable fee for free etc. and my horse lives there rent free even still I'm not working there, and there were other perks, but I blatantly refused to be paid and was able to actually earn more money for my employees for doing that and I felt good from that too. :) felt like I was doing my part in the lives of others who struggle.

I would think being paid once a month would be easier. I mean, when I budget, I budget for an entire month, so getting a month's worth of money up front would make that easier.

I don't know. Maybe it is just because I suck at math.

I budget for the entire month but I’d rather have the money in my possession rather than in the hands of my employer

Being paid monthly is a pain, but i dont think id be able to pay everything if it was weekly.

For the first time since being a student i need to plan finances and it sucks.

Some people get paid once a year. I couldn't do that lol. Well I think that's what annual salary means.

Nothing political I hope because if you say that you have to take it to a politics thread.

    Sorry.

I hope you just say he was going to a restaurant or something benign.

Don't know. I came out of the boxing gym and there he was. He was taking photos with a few people. I'm guessing it has something to do with the whole 9/11 event.
