Review sites like Glassdoor most likely give an inherently skewed view of a company. You're probably going to be getting a disproportionate amount of disgruntled former employees.

Do you do marketing along the lines of SEO type stuff? or is it pretty much all design, image, etc.?

I realize that but the comments were scathing, not the usual. They sound horrible and they’ve been rude to work with so probably some truth there.

I do mainly branding, design, email campaigns and helping to change their image if they’re tanking. I’m one of a few on a team assigned to clients but I’m the one interacting with the CEO’s etc for now.

A student and i were talking about working in America - id get about £40,000 more a year!

 

so

car i picked up for a friend...and did a whole load of repairs on

turned out to be a waste of time and money because previous owner did improper repairs to frame and covered it up good enough that neither of us noticed (but the inspection place noticed)


long story short he is losing about $1500 because he doesnt want to sink more in proper repairs and decided to just cut the loss and call it a lesson

i didnt get paid for the work either but will be able to recoup some or most of it by salvaging parts

..or i can buy it and keep working on it but im really not interested in underbody repairs like that this time of year

what a waste (of money for him...and he doesnt have much)...plus his wife was so excited ..she really like it

this is the last time i search for cars for people...in the future they will make their own mistakes

I've gotten judgmental looks leaving the grocery store because my wife (who is like 90 - 100lbs smaller than me) is carrying more stuff than me. Honestly sometimes I consider taking a limp just to avoid the questioning looks.

Nearly got in a smash this morning Pissing down with rain and spray on the motorway made visibility about 50 yards The motorway warning lights flashed up " reports of an Incident " so I eased off a bit , Next thing a white car in the fast lane facing the wrong way ( must have hit the crash barrier ) just scraped by it ! woke me up a bit !!

 

There are challeneges and competitive aspects to it that excite me--being able to turn a client into a rock star--but it's not a passion. I like it, but I don't live for it.
