You remember someone from 25 years ago because of their socks?

The socks in her avatar look fairly neutral and unremarkable lol

They do look warm though. I am looking forward to sock weather

Ok, ok, ok, I'll admit they're good when they're fresh off the conveyor belt. But not in a to-go box

There was a strange girl in 7th Grade who would put a pencil in the toe of her sock. It would go from the tip of her big toe to the toe of the sock.

Then she'd make a strange noise that sounded like "Pewwwwwm...".

That's what I'm reminded of every time I see Tipsy's avatar.

We have a surprise visit from Piper!

My daughter called on asked if I wanted to meet them and bring Piper home to play with Emma, overnight.

That silly Piper climbed straight into my lap in the driver's seat when she first got in the car with me. She's such a huge, loving dog.

I don't ever want to be without a Pit. Emma is a pit mix and Piper is full blooded.

This week was an attractive 30 something year old female co-worker's last week at the mill

    She wears an engagement ring.

Her moms died on August 26th.
I read the moms obituary and after the co workers name was a males name with (fiance) after it.
I gave my condolences to her when she came back to work on August 30th.

She said that the fiance name after her name was a typo and that she's not enagaged and not getting married and not evolved in a relationship. She wears the ring to avoid guys asking her out.

    She knows about Misty's passing.

She tells me she might have a job lined up as a waitress at a gentleman's club.

She lives with her baby daddy of 1 child.
Her other 3 kids are from another guy whom committed suicide by gun shot last year.

She joked and hehe'd to me that she's looking for a sugar daddy and laughed like she was just kidding while touching my wrist/hand.

She told me she'd like to go to dinner with me.
She said her favorite restaurant is hibachi.

She gave me her phone number and a hug good bye and said it's ok to call her. Just not on the weekends because of all the kids sports stuff.

I'm still shaking my head that is this what the dating world is like now. My very first possible date in over 2 decades, and this is how it starts.... sorry honey...can't do it....won't do it.....not gonna do it..... wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

Aerianne is right, meds should have turned it around within 48 to 72 hours, if not viral is a good possibility. Time......
