He was suspended by the NFL and with a salary of 6,000,000 a year, he lost a considerable amount of money

I know they look older on TV and I always associated even a 25yo rookie as being older than me for some reason lol. I like to think like, fuck they're stupid kids.. They are! Yet I'm a decade older and hell I look up to them. They're making really good careers and all we see is them playing sport and what they're good at. But take the gear off and they're just dumb fuck 25 year olds lol.

I think people forget that sometimes. Just because you're good at a sport. Doesn't mean you automatically obtain social skills and charisma, they're still growing into that. I'm 31 and still growing into the correct character. These dumb fuck 25 year old don't stand a chance! :tearsofjoy:

now if this were a gala broadway premiere, where you 'need' to be seen, you could go a bit flashier, but since I'm assuming it's /not/, then it comes down to not making the other people uncomfortable or distracting from the performance.

(I never understood why our theater arts course had 6 months of etiquette lessons as well. now I get it.)

What if I buy the 24th best dress, some nice flats and wear some spurs and my cowboy hat.

no hats. they block the view of the people behind you. spurs jingle and rattle. - distracting to the audience and the performers. (and if you distract or annoy the performers, they can have you booted out, which is a downer for the evening)

and I'm starting to think you're poking fun at me now. :p
didn't catch the joke. I live among muricans, and a lot of them actually have no idea how to behave in public.

I've been to the theater many times and usually people dress pretty casual. Like dressy casual. It depends on where you're going. I've been to Broadway and that's a place you would rather be overdressed than underdressed. I wore a blouse with a black skirt and nice close toed shoes. Mostly because if you have to get up once it's dark you don't want people stepping on your toes.

But for local theater I just wear a nice top with a skirt or slacks, and some flats. I have a black top that has lace in the back and that's what I usually wear to fancier events. I don't have a huge wardrobe for fancy things but I get by on a few different options depending on where I'm going, I have lots of black which works for funerals (and the last wedding I went to as well, which was gothic themed), or formal dinner parties.

6 months of etiquette lessons as part of the theater arts program in high school. not only rules for the theater, but a 'finishing school' crash course, because certain characters, you have to act the part,

I have a sky blue dress about shin height. I could wear white leggings and flats. I'll just do that. That way I'm just there, I'm not overdressed, I'm not underdressed I'm just a woman in a sky blue dress looking for the punch bowl areas.

I think that sounds nice! I don't think the leggings are even necessary though. I don't see a lot of women wearing dresses anymore so the second I do see it, I automatically think they're more put together and ready for an event. What are you going to see, btw? I've been wanting to see Aida. The last play I went to was The Book of Mormon.

Skip the leggings and maybe go for a little jacket in a grey color.
