Burgers and hot dogs sounds awesome, but noooo, I've given myself a diet. But peep this, other than Chinese food I ordered on Friday, we actually haven't had any of the nasty big 5 meals so I'm proud of us for that, though I get a craving for KFC, but I just tell myself "you're gonna feel like shit if you eat it.." so I just don't. It's been two weeks tomorrow since I went into a drive through on the highway.

I can replicate pretty much any fast food and make it a lot healthier and I just grill my chicken instead of fry. I know the texture isn't the same but if it doesn't hurt my guts then it's better.

    Mcdonalds
    Burger King
    KfC
    Domino's
    Pizza hut

The two Pizza stores, it must be the base but 100% guarantee to make sick quickly, so I found a nice Italian place that does it with proper dough etc and it's much better or I make my own.

The rest I feel it's the oil content my body doesn't like. Especially in summer where I tend to overheat easily, eat a burger or fries and in few mins I feel that seeping through cracks in my skin makes me feel horrible.

I don't get that from the pizza but I know what you are saying about the rest. There are not really any Burger Kings here anymore, although there are a few other fast good Burger joints.

Yeah the pizza is really bad for me I narrow it down to the dough because I can make my own dough and I don't have problems. I've also noticed when I eat bad foods I'm not very fun, like I get moody and guilty then I don't like the way I feel, the oil comes out, my clothes stick to me so I've made an effort to eat better and it's working.

Today on my bike ride I came across a man who was standing shoeless on the bike path, bent over and tweezing his feet.

Not like tweezing a splinter out..
he was tweezing the hair on top of his feet

Sooo i went around him as fast as humanly fucking possible.

Then on the way back he was still there, in the exact same spot, this time buckling his belt. He gave me a big smile and asked me the time.

Well, thats all I have to say about that.

You should have told him about Hip Forums, sounds like he'd have a couple ideas for a late night/early morning post.

Sorry you felt intimidated but guys like that don’t normally pose a threat.

It’s the guys that look normal, that blend into the crowd that nobody notices, they pose the real threat.

Someone like that might be hiding behind a tree ready to pounce but wouldn’t be standing out in the middle of the path looking weird.

I’ve never felt that kind of fear then again I’m 6’2” 180 lbs. and while there are guys much larger than I am. my size and build. at least gives them pause before taking me on.
And yes, as orison suggested it helps to be armed.

it also helps to look crazy.

but yeah, from someone who lived among the predators for a longer time than I'd like to admit.. back when I was a thug. If they're out and 'obvious', then they personally aren't hunting. they might be a distraction, though. but it's the ones that you don't see coming that're the ones that'll get you.

it's the ones that put you at ease, or even make themselves seem vulnerable, that're the ones to watch.

I'm lucky that.. like @hotwater , I'm on the bigger side of things, so very few people think about taking me on.. and despite my charming and somewhat adorable fuzzy wuzzy face, in public, I tend to be described variously as 'trollish' 'an ogre' 'walking probable cause' 'eats small humans' etc.. so people tend to give me a wide berth. those that don't, I know are intending trouble.

but you know.. here's the deal.. any situation that makes you uncomfortable - GTFO. you don't owe explanations or apologies to any stranger. And I'd rather come across the story of 'today @Meliai was a jerk' than 'today @Meliai was robbed and sold for organs.'

so, despite it seeming like a jerky move.. I'm proud of you for taking care of yourself.

So I start physical therapy on Wednesday. At the place I'm going all the doctors and nurses go by their first names...and my doctor is Dr. Nick. If you're a Simpsons fan you'll understand.
