surfing is not allowed as well????
that is harsh....very little environmental impact from surfing
it can be hazardous to the body at times but little other
    damage in my humble opinion

That's because you surf like 55 foot waves that break a mile offshore.

I do actually dislike them. they're overpriced, and their coffee always tastes burnt to hell. also, if you add 347 things to your coffee, it's not coffee anymore, it's a dessert.

If I'm going to have coffee, I'm going to drip brew a cup as dark as the back of the moon with my single cup brewer, thick enough for the spoon to stand upright, and if I adulterate it, it's going to be with actual sugar, and honest to goddess whole heavy cream. no vanilla soy milk foam nonsense.

I don't like people who complicate coffee.
    Don't trust them

Yeah, if you have to add a bunch of stuff to your coffee to make it palatable, you're drinking the wrong coffee.

not really, no, which is weird, because I like almonds. but almond milk leaves a flavor in my mouth that reminds me of formaldehyde (One of the myriad of doctors that I've seen referred to me as a 'supertaster' after poking around in my mouth and I asked him why I tasted curry. he'd had curry for lunch, but had washed his hands twice and worn fresh gloves, but since I could 'smell' it on his hands, i could taste it as well, so I get pretty finicky about the flavors in my mouth.)

I won't stop anyone else from drinking it, but very much not my thing.

note, I like almonds, toasted better than raw, but I also like almond butter. just can't do almond milk.

I can only imagine the reason it's called almond 'milk' is nobody could say 'nut juice' with a straight face at the marketing meeting.

well, it's like people often use way too little coffee grounds for the process.. well, that means more solvent (water) to solute (coffee compounds, including the bitter stuff) and wonder why their coffee tastes like arse. I tell them 'yeah, use more grounds, or if you don't like bitter at all, put your grounds in water and let it steep in the fridge overnight' the bitter/ashy flavored stuff only comes out at high temperatures, so if the solvent's never hot, it never dissolves out of the solute.

one of the nice things about cold brew like that is you can reheat it without it tasting like licking the inside of an ashtray. easy recipe, get a gallon jug, put one pound of grounds and 7 pints of water (basically fill it up), fridge overnight (up to 3 days) strain. most people that I turn onto this dilute it, because without all the bitter compounds, it goes down a bit 'too' easy and they wind up dangling upside down from the ceiling fan and vibrating. some of us madmen will drink it straight... and wind up hearing colors later. lol
