good old Bilbo's great great granduncle Bandobras, second son of Thrain Isumbras III, and the tallest recorded hobbit at 4 feet 5 inches, until Merry and Pippin drank the ent-Draughts and grew taller than any other hobbits known

  3. I think Galadriel was my favorite

And a lot of people don't know that she was a keeper of one of the 3 Elf-Rings of power. in her case Nenya - The Ring of Adamant, wife of Celeborn, and youngest child (and only daughter) of Finarfin, and one of the few of her generation that didn't take part in the Kinslaying at Alqualonde.

    Galadriel is something special

Being an elf would be much more interesting but the hobbits really know how to eat, drink, and be merry and I like that

Are you going by the books? Because in the movies, it seemed like Frodo was in a perpetual state of concern.

Frodo was also being worn down by the weight of carrying the ring. Even not wearing it, its presence was described as 'oppressive' and 'whispering dark thoughts.' It's why Men were so corruptible by it, actually, and why it took so long to turn Trahald/Smeagol into Gollum, is because of hobbit's almost inborn good nature let them resist it.

Smeagol possessed the one ring for a little over half of a millenia (approx age of 589 or 590 when he died.. well past standards of hobbits, even the notoriously long-lived Stoors, whom his people later went on to become).. and that was after it'd lain dormant for 2500 years in the mud at the bottom of the River Anduin after Isildur lost it.. so yeah. I'd say Frodo getting a case of perpetual concern'd be perfectly in line with carrying an artifact containing a portion of the soul of a fallen Maia in it.

It even wore down Bilbo, and after he came back from his misadventure with the dwarves, he kept it more or less safely hidden away. even then, it 'wore upon him' and made him feel 'strained, and stretched thin, like butter scraped over too much bread'
