What's Happening???

Barre classes are popping up all over around my city and town. Wisconsinites seem to be concentrating more on fitness and less on cheese.

It would be nice to see Wisconsin come off the over weight state.

 

I was talking with a friend about cats and he said cats are OK but you can't really get to know them

I said yes but what would you talk about?

You inspired me to look at the local Yoga studio classes, again.

I'd have to do "Chair Yoga".

That's so disheartening.

I looked at the class photos and I see people, much older than me, on the floor mats and I know I can't do that.

Sigh...

I can do "Chair Yoga" with some youtube videos probably. I'll save myself the drive, the time, the money, and the humiliation.

maybe ill go to my storage place (a friends large rural yard) and try to diagnose why the suv i bought doesnt run

Aw dont be discouraged, thats the beauty of yoga...it has so many modifications to work for everyone, and will never be anything but beneficial no matter how modified you have to go. And you'll probably surprise yourself with how quickly you progress with a regular practice

But I've always preferred a private at home practice myself. Nothing wrong with that

 

I don't think it's humiliating.
They are used to it there for sure.

It's easier to force yourself when you have a class to go to.


I ain't working out at home for sure.
I like structure and guidance.

 

I looked at some of the Chair Yoga on youtube. It seems like an excellent place to start.

BTW, the new anti-inflamatory med, Voltaren, seems to be a miracle worker. I felt so much less pain this morning!

 

Found a Cuban coffeehouse here, just a few miles from where I live. Gonna go take a visit later, me thinks.
