im getting rid of them. left over from growing, ive a few led ones but not bright enough

 

Most of my house has been converted to LED bulbs...

 

We have the small flood lights on the roof. 1000hrs say the box. They blow every 3 months more often than not. Constantly replacing the bloody things.

 

We are seriously considering solar panels soon so I ought go the better old bulbs again I know they drain power but it'll be solar so it's good. Plus, when I turn on a light it's because I want light right now, not in 2mins.

 

My LED floodlights are good for 40 years... They come on instantly even in the cold. LED outperform regular incandescent lights in everything... except wasting energy creating heat that's not needed. Regular bulbs are really good at getting hot.


Just in case you don't know this CFL and LED are not the same thing.

I know they aren't the same. They should be called CBF bulbs because they can't be fucked doing their job.

I probably use cheap brand LEDs in the roof, there was a box left of them from the owner when I bought the place and I just got the same ones so they'd work but I find them hopeless. Actually when they blow I leave them blown because I don't need 5 LEDs lighting up one room, it's a complete waste of energy IMO so I leave them out and leave enough working for the light we'll need.

Another frustrating thing with our house lights is every bloody light is different. We have LED in the roof of main living rooms. The bed rooms have a different bulb to the hallway lights, some bulbs are twist, some a screws, some are fancy pants glass chips you insert like computer chips with an LED. I dunno what the previous owner was thinking, but it's like everything I need to fix or replace here too, every single bloody nut and screw and bolt is different it drives you crazy, always going to hardware store for different nuts and bolts.

 

Watching one my cats be bad.

 

I'm going to start some chores/housework/laundry.

I'm trying to decide if I want to run to the corner store to pick up some noodles so I can cook soup in the crockpot overnight.

 

Same Here......Every Light In The House Is One Of Those Spiral Energy Savers......Or LED's......

The Living Aerea's Have Dimmers......But All They Do Is Make The Light Flicker.....Grrrrrrrr...

Is there anybody here who doesn't know what parts of the chicken are considered white meat, and what parts are considered dark meat?
