What's Happening???

Renting a cabin. Going to do some hiking, kayaking on this beautiful mountain lake, getting drunk in the hot tub...most of the trip might be spent drunk in the hot tub actually, lol

 

I'm with all that except the hot tub. They make me feel weird. I get too hot and too relaxed that I get weak and uncomfortable.

Anyway, sounds like you're going to have a blast! And I hope you do; you deserve it!

So is this a romantic getaway kind of thing? Just you and your dude? Or is this a family vaycay? Maybe that was a dumb question given the drunk in a hot tub thing, but it wouldn't have stopped my family LOL

 

Yeah, i can understand that. I do get a little panicky that they're going to make me faint if i'm in one too long .

Family vaycay. Which basically means several days of my sister and I acting like complete fucking idiots and alienating everyone else with our inside jokes, i cant wait, she's my favorite person on the planet. She'll be my drunk hot tub buddy

 

I saw lots of stars and even the milkyway itself very often lately Mars is also still visible I think (bright orange star in the south).

 

Riding your bicycle through the countryside?

 

Can you see any planets at least? I’ve lived in dense urban areas and I could at least see Jupiter and Venus

 

I spend almost every evening before workdays at my friend's place in the village. Very chill bicycle ride from my parents place some miles out in the countryside. And lots of clear skies lately!
Really like the dark silhouettes of the trees against the sky that's very crowded with stars.

 

yeah i can see Venus and like...4 or 5 stars lol

 

using torches to cut off a trailer jack then i start cutting off the extra stuff on some old welds from previous fenders and an army of wasps starts coming out the frame hole where the clearance light wires pass thru


had to bbq a few of them until it was safe enough to back off and work on another area

Yes of course. I mean I haven't seen him here for some time since the last couple of changes to the site.

 

Worked out and had a yum açaí bowl, today. Hit or miss with those, this happened to be a good one.

 

Push, push, push. Straight into the top 5 and straight into a wreck. Muppets. Was showing good pace against the big boys too.

 

If I am not mistaken, the 6 month wait is over today, football is back in pre season form. I have to wait until Saturday to listen to the Ponies game.

 

No drinks tonight. my miss did feel like Indian food though so we got some butter chicken which was really sweet to be honest and like a cashew lb dish and rice. I went conservative with my eyes and stomach and ate enough to the point of before feeling full.

My mum told me once that you should wait 20mins after eating for your brain to recognise that you are full, but we tend to eat until we are full so she told me to eat a smaller plate and wait and I'll find out that I'm not hungry anymore. Over the years I find this true and I sit there and look at my plate and wonder like most folk do.. Do I have enough room for seconds? but not tonight. I'm actually starving atm.
