i used to cook tomato wedges on the top rack of bbq while cooking steak

they tasted so damn good...only works well with thick fleshy tomatoes..the juicy slimey ones are good too but fall apart too easily on the rack

The tree crane is coming tomorrow afternoon to pick up the tree off the son's house.

He got a limb about 2 inches in diameter poking into the bathroom ceiling and "a few" in the bedroom ceiling that I didn't get to see. I guess they will know better what's what when they get the tree lifted off the roof.

I had a good dinner at O'Charley's for my grandson's birthday. His other grandmother bought our dinners. Mine was the fried shrimp and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Been taking shit from hubby for a couple of hours because I'm hurting and didn't fee like doing the litter boxes. He did them, without "breaking his broken arm" so everything really was fine. He just wanted to bitch at me because he needed to do it tonight. I could say alot more about how I'm feeling but I'll spare you guys. It's not like it's going to help anything anyway.

Here's another pic. These aren't too good. Hubby made them with his phone while it was still raining.

If you look closely, you can see the white fascia board going around my roof line back behind all the greenery just below mid-line in the pic.

I was sleeping when I heard thunder and woke up to hail hitting the roof and debri blowing out of that sweet gum tree hitting the side of my house...then I heard a whoosh when the wind moved through and broke those trees. My bedroom is on the end of the house closest to my sons house and his bedrooms.

That’s tough was the tree damage caused by straight-line winds?

Also do you really need to call a tree service, based on what I’m seeing I’d try to tackle that first with my Poulan gas powered chain saw

That tree had a bad spot in it. The weather service says they recorded gusts to 45 mph.
The tree service came out this evening and told my son that it was too heavy to handle without a crane.

Well, he has homeowner's insurance, a family to get back under a dry roof, and a job he already had to leave in the middle of the day today so...the tree service is handling it.
