What's Happening???

Full blown fever last night. Woke up covered in sweat and freezing had to trap blanket under me I dunno where I put my arms and legs around my wife but I held her for dear life as I shook about 3kg off my body.

Feel terrible right now. Boat docks in about 5hrs I think. I might go try and get some fresh air again.

I'm kind of not letting them know I'm as bad as I am lol. But I'm whinging a lot to my wife. well not whinge but she's hearing about. I hope I can plug along until football, get some natural adrenaline at the game then kick on tonight a bit and get a good rest in hotel.

Hmm that's a good idea actually. There might be. It's like a big yacht, not a cruise ship but a fancy yacht I guess, few hundred people on board I'd say. That's a good idea though, sweat everything out.

 

Nut warmers should really be a thing though, might invent some, sell em on ebay

Rofl. Just docked near the Queensland boat. Sounded like some medieval Braveheart thing going on. Lots of yelling. Quite intimidating... I'm glad I'm with blues boys!

In hotel now. It's got a spa bath. yay! How cool.
I had two Jim Beam blacks with a small lunch I'm feeling a bit better. Just put my Blues Jersey on. I have it over a flannelette top so I can stay warm. We saw lots of supporters in the city for lunch and went a to a sports bar called Patriots, I scoffed because it was all New England Patriots garbage, but I saw someone wearing a Broncos shirt so I went and talked to him for a bit. will be leaving shortly for the stadium. Hearing there will be close to 80,000

Someone in the sports bar, well outside the sports bar.. I was having a vape and a chat and someone asked if I could go in and ask them to turn the speakers down cause they couldn't hear on the phone..

I just looked at him and snappily said... No!.. I don't want to do that..

Normally I'd probably cave in when someone asks me something but nah I was gonna stand my ground like seriously, just walk away?

 

I haven't listened to it yet but I heard a song from it on the radio...
and I was a bit disappointed. It was just a bit bland.
I wouldn't judge an album by one song though, especially the single.

It was the last two albums from 2010 and 12 that got me into him.. Then I kind of worked back and appreciated some older stuff. But the newer songs are much more exciting to me. High Hopes and Harry's Place and Wrecking Ball etc.

I will buy the new album though.

Listened to some tunes off The Boss’ new album. It *is* pretty damn good.

 

Death to My Hometown is great (off Wrecking Ball album). That whole album is pretty good but I prefer the higher tempo tracks off it.

Well, I assure you its not ment as shitty or to challenge the general rule
I was saying it because 1) some people, like in that instance bugs, don't know about it so no need to get blunt about it to them, and 2) it can be really hard to not mention a sidenote remark in the What's happening thread relating to politics in some way when that is 'what's happening' around them at the time of mentioning. It just happens by itself or accidently at times, without the intent to trigger a political convo. Should be ok and not get an overly anal reaction like 'aaargh that is related to politics, stfu!!!'
