What's Happening???

He is Diabetic but since losing over 150 lbs. he thought he had it under control without doing anything.

 

Also got some blood results for hubby.

His WBC count is within the "normal" range which tells me what is on his hip is not infected.

His RBC, Hemoglobin, and Hematocrit are all low.


I mean this man is literally falling apart and walking around acting like he feels fine but you can tell that he doesn't.

 

So his doctor is just "practicing" medicine then... Sounds like doc should actually do something.

 

When you look at the sore on hubby's hip, you think "Ew, that's infected". That's what the doc gave hubby the antibiotic for.

Since prescribing the antibiotic the blood work came back and, to me, his WBC count does not indicate infection.

He returns to the doc to have the sore looked at in two weeks which will be after the full course of antibiotics.

 

And if it's Melanoma should you be waiting two weeks?

 

Gaia apparently has a sense of humor and likes car pollution.

It's bike-to-work day here and this is the first day all spring where it's rained all day.

 

That, I don't know.

I know the Blood Sugars threw up a flag and hubby got a phone call.


Also, the Thyroid numbers are out of range.


I forgot about that one.

He just sent me the link to his results so now I can study it instead of trying to remember.

 

Hubby's blood work shows

Under-active Thyroid

Anemia

High Blood Glucose

and then there's the

High Blood Pressure

- those things I know for sure.

Removed..Washed..And Blow Dry'd The Two Ceiling Air-Cond Filters.....Blew Leaves And Stuff Off All

Of The Verandah's......Collapsed In Front Of My Puuuuter With A Cup Of Coffee.....As The Old

Saying Goes......"A Housewife's Work Is Never Done".....

He probably should look at taking a couple of your dogs for a walk.
Nothing that stresses him out but is fun and it helps keep his weight down.
Too much sugar needs to be regulated by eating healthy foods.
Oh and if he smokes he should give those up.
My late nan smoked until she had a major stroke.
She found out what was wrong and she stopped smoking.
Unfortunately she passed away from a series of major and minor strokes that landed her in hospital.
She never left hospital.

 

He can't walk the dogs.

He can barely walk himself.

 

What does he weigh at the moment?
