It's been a gorgeous weekend!

My son starts his new job tomorrow so we will be back with the kids before school and after school.

I'm thinking that I've become Lactose Intolerant. If that's all that's been wrong with my tummy I will happily correct my diet. I avoided Lactose yesterday and this morning my tummy wasn't so bad.

Cheese-It Crackers and Instant Mashed Potatoes were the things I ate Friday that I think gave me really bad troubles yesterday.

 

Just cycled through the countryside at 11 pm. Lots of frogs making noise! First time i heard so many this year.

 

In case talking about my bowels was your first clue, I admit it: I Am Utterly Human!

@Driftrue, I'm sorry for your loss.

My Uncle died young. He had stage something or other of cancer in some part of his digestive system. He was like 60 something though. I'm reminded that those who have gone before us can serve as a reminder of how precious life is. May he rest in peace, driftrue.

 

He had problems with mental illness which led him to a life that developed some physical health issues.. But at this point no one seems to know what the actual cause was..
I don't know if we will know or not.
I don't know how these things work.

I don't mind saying about it but I'm not going to mention it anymore here because it seems a gloomy subject to inflict on one of my favourite threads. All of your words are appreciated though. I'll miss him a lot.

 

Anyway. What's happening is it's 6:16am and I'm going to drink more tea.

I got home at the end of March.

 

I had some really bizarre dreams last night. I don't recollect alot of it but I definitely remember waking up and having a few minutes where I had to decipher if those events actually transpired or were just dreams.

It was all the more odd because I drank last night, which usually suppresses dreaming.

 

I quite like experiences like that with dreams

 

So I was kinda right?

 

I'm feeling dumb..I put a load of laundry in the machine and went back to making scones..without realising that I left the plug in the sink that the machine drains into..hey presto one flooded laundry.just spent half an hour mopping it up..but hey I have the cleanest laundry floor in town lol..

 

Heh, yeah. I actually thought it was sharp to immediately notice the time would be wrong for NZ.

 

That's exactly the kind of thing I do when I'm feeling dumb.

 

I just got off the phone with my parents, so I know it's afternoon there.

 

Well.. That's just cheating..

Usually I just add 12 hrs then subtract 4 and it's around that time there. So here is nearly 8am in aus it should be be near 4pm hehe.

Okay so I guess I could just add 8 hrs now that I think of it. Pffff maths. Who needs it.
