I assume black bears, I think they're the only bears native to that area.

I had no idea the practice was still legal. I remember when I was a kid the touristy area of the Cherokee Indian Reservation had a bear exhibit but they got rid of that a long time ago and I didnt realize other places still did it.

It always made me so sad to see them as a kid, I don't understand how enough people can actually enjoy it these days to keep them in business

Work has been busy, but it's been good. Bought a gold heart locket necklace recently, and it might be my favorite of them all. I say that about every new piece. I should have been a jeweler, but maybe when you do something for a living, you lose your love for it. Hoping everyone here is doing well.

 

Hmm, I'm still pretty much heavily into things I loved as a kid, I don't think I'll lose that passion. Interest fades every now and again but I'll get influenced by something and get right back into it.

 

I'd like to think more highly of people in the food industry but regardless with cameras everywhere these days, that would be an incredibly stupid risk.

I am a rewards member at that pizza joint and they have lunch specials, which it was the tail end of when I arrived. It wasn't a rewards bonus but they still had a few slices left from the lunch special and I tipped them.

Ohhhh touched a nerve.

 

He was lifting a heavy object. I was helping him hoist up my sliding glass door. Then he suddenly felt sick and told me of his disease. I got his pulse and it was OK. I took a look at his eyes to do a vertigo test. His eyes were shaking quite a bit. He was out for more than 4 hours. He'll be back on Wednesday to finish the job.
