Took my first dose of Kratom. Not sure if I'm feeling anything yet. It's only been about twelve minutes. I feel a little warm, but it could be that I am warm, you know? How do I know if my body is just warm or if I'm getting high? I could have a warmer body than usual. I am wearing a coat indoors.

 

Kratom doesnt really make you "high," per se. I think you're most likely to notice its effects when you need a cure for what ails you..it takes away body pain as effectively as an opioid painkiller and its also really really good for anxiety. I tend to not notice its effects as much when i'm not in pain or don't have anxiety

 

Erowid has clearly apparent effects at 30-60 mins. 30 mins is about my experience.

There are many different kinds of Kratom, I've done a couple different ones. I had one that was supposedly more stimulating which wasn't that perceptible but I have had some that have been as strong as a couple vicodin.
