What's Happening???

The thing I like about Lent is that the Catholic churches around here all have fish dinners on Fridays. May check into that.

 

I saw some ladies sitting out in the cold today offering Ashes in front of an Episcipal (I believe) church.

 

I scraped the outer corner of my eye with the make up remover wipe thing ...it stings

 

Strange thing happened just a while ago... someone mentioned me in a post but I didn't get a notification.

A logical conclusion

 

I got my ASS KICKED by our trainer at the gym this evening. We have our usual, larger group but I have a long-term partner who I also run/train with outside of our group. Sometimes you have an off day but if she and I are both getting our asses handed to us.....our trainer is earning her money.

Just brutal. We need that once in a while.

Now my wife was watching some stupid reality show and I said I'm not watching these idiots and so we turned channel and big bang was on and she says sure we'll watch these idiots instead.

Mmmm I might do some light reading before I have to go live on air for the broadcast. Whoop-whoop

 

I think I'll go to a meeting at the county ag office tonight. This one is on pet overpopulation in the county.

As much as I love animals I'll benefit from networking with some of these groups/people that are presenting at the meeting.

Plus, the county ag office has all kind of resources for home gardners, etc. and there's a beautiful community garden on site.

The veterans museum is on the same property and hubby has always been interested in that sort of stuff.

At our age, it's probably time to get interested and to participate in some of this stuff.

I mean, the grandkids are practically all teenagers now and if we don't get some other things to be involved in we might go mad, lol.

Anyway, I won't divulge the number of animals that I take care of but I want to see if there are some discount spay/neuter programs I don't know about, etc.

@soulcompromise - i wonder if you have to actually click on the person's name when tagging them. like i just posted your name, and then your pic pops up with your name, and i clicked on it, but if someone doesn't click on that to tag you, i wonder if the notifications don't pick it up. hmm.

 

OMG, I got up waaaaaay too early this morning.

 

I'm pretty sure that "function" hasn't been working for awhile...
