She asks me to say it, I don't even know what she's saying. the accuse me of not talking with a thick German accent. I said I'm not Til from Rammstein you know.

 

Tomorrow I get to sleep in until 10:45

Boss has a meeting and won't be in the office til later.

 

That means you get to stay up to like 2/3am

 

So content right now. I was ravenously hungry after the gym, and I just ate some good food and am curled up with a purring kitty on my lap.

 

I just got a corn dog from the food van

 

Food van? Sounds sketchy.

 

Its a van with a kitchen in it known to be open all night hehe. It's stationary and doesn't move. It's red and has graffiti all over it. Like fish and chips and burgers and anything fried. It is pretty cool lol. My town isn't huge so you can go to these places easy and yeah. I just walk 15mins to it with the dog. There's usually a line this time of season of people. They all pat my dog and give him chips sometimes.

 

Oh, nice. We have those here, too. Food tastes better out of a truck/van.

 

Just bought plane tickets to New York, yay. In July, which is probably a horrible time to go but thats the soonest I can get time off work

And I found an awesome airbnb in Harlem but..is Harlem safe these days, I wonder?

 

I wish I could go to New York to get out of Oregon. I had a healthy salad for dinner.

 

What part of Harlem? East Harlem is one of the more dangerous places in New York, which is the safest big city in the country.

I'd look it up on google maps. If you don't see evil clowns outside, you'll probably be safe.

 

Are they any clowns in Long Island or The Queens?

 

It looks like it is in West Harlem. i'll keep it on the maybe list.

Looking forward to seeing and going out with the boys today for pool. only practice a bit before so might be a bit rough but I don't care, with our team performing so badly this season I'm just going for the fun with zero stress now.

If I tank my season I might actually pull a wild card in the state trials with an easier group anyway and that'll give me confidence.

 

Nothing in particular, I've been once before but it was just a quick 2 day trip to visit a friend and I've been dying to go back with more time to explore. I hope to eat a lot of ethnic food, maybe see a Broadway show, do some museums, and just wander around aimlessly.

 

I had the chance to get a free trip to NYC and appear on The People's Court on PBS.

I had a car accident case that they wanted to broadcast on the show. I accepted the offer, but my challenger declined.

To this day I've never been to New York.
