I look younger than my age too. I was late bloomer and was not happy about that when I was in my late teens and early 20's. It has translated to not looking as old as I actually am. I'm loving it now. I recently went to an event and asked for the applicable senior discount. They did not believe me at the ticket counter. I was reverse carded! Woohoo!

 

You're welcome! It's weird, I think because of the choices I've made in my life, I don't ''feel'' like I'm in my 30's if that makes sense? I put career first for a while, and dated a ton of guys, I was afraid of love and commitment. But, then, one comes along, and you just say yes. He's ''the one,'' and all that. Or ''she's the one.'' Being married for nearly the past two years makes me feel like I'm in my 30's now. I posted this in my blog, but we're going to try to have a baby now.

 

I only act younger, but I'm real good at it.

My concern waiting to my 30's to marry, have kids...I feel like it's a bit rushed now, in terms of baby making. My husband? This doesn't affect his body, his life as much as mine. I said...suppose I get really fat (from being pregnant), and you leave me? He said I'll still be hot, fat. lol

I'm not sure I liked that answer. I don't want to get fat.

 

My theory is that people who try to stay young end up looking a bit sad.. People who let themselves get old, get old.. And the best thing to do is become "ageless" and attach no meaning or import to any particular decade or number.

I will always accept a person with opposite views though, as long as people are willing to explain them/have thought them out. Like in that IS bride thread, i didn't like your initial post about those parents, but really liked your more nuanced second post. And not just because I agreed more with that, but because it was better thought out!

 

I met a guy in a pub once years ago and he went white when he saw me " I thought you had been stabbed " he said! he thought he must have dream't it but it freaked me out ( I was doing a lot of acid in those days )

 

I can't have a cat at home.. We have too many birds nesting about the place. But I am loving hanging out with this one, here. She purrs in my ear and it's so relaxing.

On another note.. GB, Running Horse and Ged all seem to have disappeared. Hope all are well, wherever they are.

 

Yea, he's awesome. He feels like the lucky one, but I truly am. I'm not easy to be with, in a relationship. I've grown a lot, but I'm still eh...not easy. lol I tend to be a little guarded, but he helps me get out of that.
