I love dream catchers.

It's Friday, and the sun is shining, and my cup of coffee is comforting.

 

Thankfully, I do not have to ride in a funeral home limo tomorrow.

I do have to ride in the personal car of the funeral director.

Damn my insane sister-in-law.

 

Funerals do bring out the crazy in people. Hope all goes well Aeri

 

My boss just asked me if I'm feeling okay and looked at me like i'm lying when I said yes. I'm a little insulted, I must look rough but she told me to go home if I needed to so maybe I will

I have had one hanging from the rear view mirror of my vehicles for decades. I also have one above my desk in my office at work. I've bought ehm in Santa Fe, NM and Silverton & Durango, Co.

 

I was gonna do stuff around here and maybe some work too, but I got up and my body said lolnope.

Like Meliai said, funerals do bring out the crazy in people.
I usually think of the deceased person and how they don't deserve the drama, but deserve a respectful, worthy and peaceful sendoff, so I try not to pay too much attention to the petty or silly things people do or say.

The drama has already started, yesterday, with crazy Betty picking needless fights with her daughter, Lelannee.

Lelannee contacted us but crazy Betty doesn't mention it because it's her fault.

I'm sitting with the triplets while their mom has the older granddaughter out shopping for a prom dress. Then the parents are going out to eat so we will be with the girls for a while

Hubby needs a glass of wine.

He just had a major shit-fit.

A little while ago, he told me that his sister had picked Send In The Clowns, by Judy Collins, to be one of the songs at her husband's funeral.

I asked him about it a minute ago and he went utterly ape shit. He told me he hadn't said that, that he'd said Amazing Grace.

It would have been fine if he'd stopped right there but he just went on and on and on, calling me a liar over and over and over again.

Good God.

I can't believe he had such a volatile reaction.

He did confuse what he told me but it's not that fucking important.

I could not, in good conscience, speak to another human being the way he speaks to me...let alone my spouse.

 

Got a dance performance in less than 24 hours. I'll be dancing the Rumba, Push Pull Hustle and East Coast Swing.

The music will played by a live orchestra in a high school gym commons.

I'm super stoked and confident.
Can't wait. Counting down hours. I might even sleep longer than normal just to make time go by faster.....
