I think most regular members here probably know my name, I'm not one to really GAF about it. There's probably thousands of Jocelyn around... Though I've never met one personally :p she'd have big boots to fill anyway. :D

I'm in the woken hungover mood. The basement of the venue was flooded for some reason and it really stank, like headache stink. I've had a coffee but that served only to make me feel bleh. Highway food didn't help either, but it tasted good. :D

Now I dunno what to do, I feel awake enough to carry through. Need to commentate in about 12hrs or just under.

This older guy names Rolph tonight was contemplating me on how well I seemed to have got at pool. I said yeah, I'm shooting well and I'm starting to learn more strategy and how to play different people but I'm just not getting the results yet but I can't fault myself at the moment. He said I'm up against tough opponents now and can easily hold my own, back to that one more visit on table I'd do them in. Then an ex national champ came to talk to me too. I remember he flogged me 11-0 one day, he said he doubts very much it would look like that again.

He also runs a small business moving and selling pool tables, I told him I'd love to come along and help but he is in the city and I'm not gonna commute 4hrs a day for that, thought it's a cool idea. He does out of town stuff too and up in Mittens, he told me to let him know how rough the venue tables get up here lol. I said ohhh there's one club.. You just don't even wanna look you'll cringe they use their tables as.. Tables.

I'm currently sick and got the cold from both my parents. I'm finally recovering from it thankfully. I've been keeping myself busy with watching new movies and checking out some interesting videos off of youtube. Good thing is that I no longer go on Facebook anymore. Facebook seems to have too much drama on there which gets to me. To me Forums are entertaining, Facebook has so much extra drama on there. So I don't log on there as much as I use too. I'm planning on putting my focus on Art again. :) So I have a lot of plans set up for me and plan to take some art classes over the summer.

Most of my friends seem to have the same sense of humor as me on Facebook so most of the drama is actually laughable which is good, there was a time it was mostly always political nonsense but ever since adding pool and racing friends they're all a bit random which makes it really fun.

I wouldn't mind finding another forum but I haven't found any that I like, I like this place, I'm not sure what I'm looking for though in terms of a forum. I could easily sign up to interest forums like football, sports and racing but there's a lot of drama in sports forums and also adult lifestyle forums can be a bit wank too.

Facebook is all commercial now, like there will be two posts by people I follow and then the Energizer Bunny or whatever. I'd cancel but my sister in law puts up pictures of my niece and nephew every now and then. Oh, I warned everyone I'd unfollow them if they kept making political posts.

Facebook is required for organising pool comps and matches and leagues so I kind of need it. It's all done through Facebook as then you can easily talk to members in select communities and groups.

  7. There is nothing that can evoke random memories like scent and smells can.
I wish I could describe to yall this wonderful smell and the memories and feelings it triggers, but I lack the vocabulary.

    Nice. :)

Relatable, ginger and cream does that for me as I remember these soft ginger biscuits with cream in the middle my grandparents made. I tell ya, Nobody can butter toast like my grandma could either will all those sugar Dutch sprinkles you put on.

And when I smell this sweet caramel that's very distinct it brings me back to a day in school I got very sick and for whatever reason that taste and smell is what I associate with being sick. They were caramel biscuits with sprinkles on them.

    What did you smell Elo?

Hubby told me the wrong waist size to order for new pants. Now, we have two pairs of new pants that are huge on him.

I hope those pants fit that are part of the suit at the cleaners.

So, that's on the agenda today - picking up the suit, trying on the pants, and hoping to not have to go to Kohl's for pants. I doubt the stores stock the short length he needs.

    Shower first.

one unit of neighbors is moving out, i hope they were the ones who were beating on walls.

i wish it was tobacco that was the substance that was unlawful for other then ritual purposes.
second hand smoke from it i mean. whatever else people might do with it is fine.

yesterday was bus, and post to f.a., today was pay rent, and now, i think sleep.
is cold. ice on ground in shadows not melting. sun but cold. snow long gone.
