Meeting all the ventilation requirements and heat safety codes, I got the green light from my town inspector saying I can install this in my basement.
The gas fireplace was the last and most challenging item on Misty's "for me to do list"

March 15th install date can't get here quickly enough.

 

got a gas fireplace but i dont have no gas.. I cant pay for everything .. one house is enough.

I ate and took medicine that I'd missed earlier; starting to feel more like myself.

 

Just made some salsa for a superbowl thing at work tomorrow. And its taking all my self control not to eat it now

 

Pretty certain I saw a rat just before in the hedge. I heard rustling and went to see rabbits saw this grey thing run away. Too small for a cat or a other rabbit. So I set up a trap station, see if there's not a big dirty rat in there later this morning. It is a box with two openings and two enclosures, rat enters holes has to get into the second enclosure which has a trap set up, bait in the corner, rat triggers trap getting to the bait. Simples? Czhh

What's happening?

Well, I decided to check back into HF after a couple of years of hiatus.
I got a cat. Not a big fan of cats but this one is ok. It's a female that I named Doug Flutie. She seems to like me. Still have the two tiny dogs.
Got back home from Amsterdam about a week ago. I was there with friends for about a week.
Haven't done a lot of physical work for most of January.
Might start a different career direction pretty soon.
Not particularly motivated about very much right now.

I still suck at it but otherwise it's going as well as can be expected.
Funny thing.....when I was typing out that last post and mentioned not working as much, I thought "Well, I have been playing the hell out of my guitars lately, so that's good"
I'm going to get the hang of it one of these days.
