What's Happening???

Boo. It's harmless fun, no different than when you take a photo of something. I mean why bother, you can see a photo of it any time. You do it because you were there. Social media can be used for so much manyViele purposes not just taking photos for the sake of taking photos and posting each day. That's what people do. Some use it is a diary, I know I used to use my Facebook account as a diary for the first years, where I can go back and reflect on what I was thinking all them years ago. Some might use it as health device like with the fitbit communities and progress photos.. and some folks just like to take selfies of themselves. And that's cool too. good on 'em.

I’ve come to the realization that 95% of the arguments I find myself in were because I was in a bad mood.

 

When the alarm went off, I was dreaming that I was listening to a guy give away a squirrel hunting secret.

hurting them is the easy part.. cooking them is not.

I'm going to try to find something on t.v. to entertain me while I hem a pair of pants for hubby.

 

My daughter went to the court calendar call this morning and she gets to choose Pre-Trial Diversion or a court date in March.

She's going to call me in a minute to discuss it.

 

So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

 

So the predicted snow line tomorrow literally stops at my street. I'm in the no snow zone.

 

Today's tea says "Be the honey to someone's tea".
I think I am more of a turkish delight to go with someone's strong black turkish coffee. It's acquired taste

Anyways, it's been raining all day long, and I am exhausted. I haven't been sleeping well or enough. So I'm having a tea, blanket and star trek evening. I did manage to collect all the cups and mugs and wash them, as I tend to leave them laying around all over the place.
I feel accomplished.

And for some reason, drawing has been a lot on my mind lately. I feel like drawing a lil.

 

I want to see a drawing you do.

That post reminds me I drew a lot when I first watched TNG, including most of the bridge crew of that series. Still have it somewhere

 

Oh I don't think I am all that good, to be honest. I do find it very relaxing.
I think I might get charcoal, I've always liked that. But hey sure, if I get to it later this week (I think I will), I'll post a pic. Just don't expect too much. It's very simplistic.

Yes I am the same, with drawing. My expectations will be suitably low.

 

Yeah I want to see, Asmodean. I want to see everyone's drawings. Is there a thread for that somewhere? Over time, the subforums I use have narrowed, if anything. I keep meaning to expand.

 

It's also the general premise and setting of the federation of planets and how humans as a whole moved forward i think. There was more scifi i liked back when I discovered TNG but nothing was as inspiring in that regard as Star Trek. It really was a highlight in tv entertainment for me at the time. But yes, Picard was an excellent character to portray the values of the federation
